Coconut Green Chutney

Ingredients :

  • Coconut Grated - 1/2 Cup
  • Coriander leaves(Cilantro)- 1/2 Cup
  • Split roasted chick peas - 1 Tbsp
  • Green Chili -1
  • Ginger - 1/4 inch
  • Lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • Mustard seeds -1/4 Tbsp
  • Cumin seeds -1/4 Tbsp
  • Oil -1 Tbsp
  • Salt
  • Water

Procedure :

  1. Grind coconut, cilantro, split roasted chick peas, green chili, ginger, lemon juice and salt in a blender to prepare a smooth paste.
  2. Add little amount of water if required.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Add mustard seeds to splutter.
  5. Add cumin seeds.
  6. Pour it over smooth paste.
  7. Ready to serve.

Note :

  • If you are using dry or frozen coconut, prepare the chutney one hour before serving.
